（1）《旧唐书》卷40《地理志三》：睦州桐庐县“旧治桐溪，开元二十六年，移治钟山。”（北京，中华书局，1975年，5册，1595页。）万历《严州府志》卷6《经略志四·古迹》：桐庐县古县城“在桐庐乡，去县治西北十五里，唐贞观二十年废桐江西岸城，改筑今旧县是也。”又县治城“唐开元二十六年废古县城，改筑于此。”（北京，书目文献出版社，1990年，《日本藏中国罕见地方志丛刊》，147页。）《清嘉庆一统志》卷302《严州府一·古迹》：桐庐故城“又有古严州城，在县西北十五里，桐江西岸，本隋仁寿二年鸿胪寺丞苏纶所筑，唐初置严州于此，今犹名为旧县。开元中移治钟山，后移桐江口，即今治。”又城下村“在桐庐县西北四十五里钟山乡，即唐开元中县治。”（商务印书馆，1934年，《四部丛刊续编》，111册，16、18页。）光绪八年《严州府志》卷5《营建》：桐庐县城池“开元二十六年，以邑有水患，复移于桐江口，即今县治是也。无城。”（《中国方地志从书》华中地方55号，成文出版社有限公司，1册，82页。）上引诸书，或说开元二十六年移治钟山，或说开元二十六年移治桐江口，当因移治钟山后旋移桐江口，故方志不记移治钟山。今作开元二十六年移治钟山，次年即移桐江口。桐江即今分水江，（见上引《清统志》卷302《严州府一·山川》，14页。）今县治仍在江口，是移桐江口后至今未变。今县西南16公里钟山乡有城下。（杭州，浙江教育出版社，1991年，《浙江古今地名词典》，440页。又见北京，地图出版社，1981年，《浙江省地图册》。）",
