注：
（1）《汉书》卷28上《地理志上》：会稽郡上虞“莽曰会稽。”（北京，中华书局，1962年，6册，1591页）同书卷99中《王莽传中》：天凤元年，官名悉改，以亭为名者三百六十，以应符命文，九州之内，县二千二百有三。（12册，4136~7页。）今县名姑作亦此年改。又《太平寰宇记》卷96《江南道八》越州上虞县“汉县。”。（金陵书局，光绪八年，19册，15页。）未记何年所置，上引《汉书》卷41《灌婴传》载，项籍败垓下，婴渡江，定吴、豫章、会稽郡，（7册，2083页。）项籍败垓下在高帝五年，今姑作此年置县。
（2）明万历十五年《绍兴府志》卷2《城池志·县城》：上虞城“盖今百官地也。今县则自唐长庆中置。”（《中国方志丛书》华中地方520号，成文出版社有限公司，1册，176页。）《清嘉庆一统志》卷294《绍兴府一·古迹》：上虞故城“在今上虞县西北。”又云“府志，旧治在今县西北四十里之百官市。唐长庆二年徙今治。”（商务印书馆，1934年，《四部丛刊续编》，169册，25页。）按：其后未见有迁移记载，1954年县治（今丰惠镇）迁至今百官镇。",
