（1）《元史》卷62《地理志五》：庆元路昌国州“元至元十四年，升为州，仍置昌国县以隶之；后止立昌国州，隶庆元。”（北京，中华书局，1976年，5册，1496页。）《大德昌国图志》卷1《沿革》：“遂归附焉，是为至元十三年，县仍旧。至元十五年二月，朝廷谓海道险要，升县为州。”“至元十七年，复置县，隶于州，二十七年县仍废，止单州焉。”（北京，中华书局，1990年，《宋元方志丛刊》，6册，6064页。）初升州年份，今从《元志》。《大德昌国图志》著于大德二年，上距至元末仅数年，其他变化，它书不载，自可信从。
（2）《清嘉庆一统志》卷291《宁波府一·城池》：定海县城“本朝康熙二十八年因昌国城故址重筑，乾隆中修。”（商务印书馆，1934年，《四部丛刊续编》，104册，4页。）其后未见有迁移记载，1987年为舟山市定海区。",
