（1）（4）《新唐书》卷41《地理志五》润州金坛县：隋末，置金山县，“隋亡，沈法兴又置琅琊县，李子通以琅琊置茅州，以金山隶之。贼平，因之，后录蒋州。武德八年（625年）省入延陵。”（北京，中华书局，1975年，4册，1057页）又《太平寰宇记》卷89《江南东道一》润州金坛县：“隋亡，沈法兴窃取江表，仍于置琅琊县。唐武德二年（619年），李子通破法兴，改琅琊为茅州。“（金陵书局，光绪八年刊本，17册，10页）据《资治通鉴》卷185《唐纪一》载：武德元年五月始改元武德，三月仍属隋炀帝大业十四年，隋恭帝义宁二年[618年4月]），沈法兴“据江表十余郡”（北京，中华书局，1956年，13册，5785页）则沈法兴置琅琊县，是在隋大业十四年三月（61`8年4月）。再据上引《太平寰宇记》载，唐武德二年（619年），李子通于琅琊县置茅州。何时废，书无记载，从上引《新唐书·地理志》记载，可能与金山县于武德八年（625年）同时废入延陵县。
（2）《至顺镇江志》卷首《郡县表》：隋，“江都郡，大业三年（607年）废润州为江都郡之延陵县”，又列金山县于隋表中（《宋元方志丛刊》，北京，中华书局，1990年，3册，2612页），当是金山县属江都郡，琅琊县亦当属江都郡。
（3）琅琊县址，今在何地，诸书均无记录，《新唐书》卷41《地理志五》记琅琊县事于金坛县下，见上注（1），唐金坛县，即今金坛县，则琅琊县址在今金坛县境。",
