⑴东汉·班固：《汉书》卷28上《地理志第八上》：“毗陵，季札所居。江在北，东入海，扬州川。莽曰毗坛。”（北京，中华书局，1962年，西北大学历史系校点本，6册，1590页）因无具体年代，暂定在王莽天凤元年。
⑵《读史方舆纪要》卷25《江南七》：“武进县，附郭。本吴之延陵邑，季札所居。汉曰毗陵县，属会稽郡。”（北京，中华书局，2册，1154页）
