《读史方舆纪要》卷99·福建五·漳州府·海澄县：嘉靖四十四年“移割龙溪并漳浦地置县，事闻，赐名海澄。隆庆初始设县治。”（北京，中华书局，1955年，5册，4138页）。嘉靖四十五年十二月即隆庆元年。
