五代梁乾化元年（911年），以长乐县改名，属福州1。治所即今福建省长乐县（吴航镇）2。唐同光初（923年）复改为长乐县3。

1，清《嘉庆一统志》卷425·福州府一·建置沿革：“乾元元年复曰福州。五代初为王氏所据。长乐县“元和三年省入福唐，五年复置。五代梁乾化元年，王氏改曰安昌。唐同光初复旧。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，154册）。
2，清《嘉庆一统志》卷425·福州府一·古迹：“新宁故城，在长乐县南。唐置，寻改为长乐。…〈县志〉：故城在县南十五里。唐上元元年，移置六平山吴航头，即今治。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，154册，27页）。其后未见迁徙记载。牛平汉《清代政区沿革综表》福建省福州府，清长乐县即今福建省长乐县（吴航镇）。（中国地图出版社，1990年，168页）。
