梁天监元年（502年），迁治端溪县，析安遂县为广熙郡治（1）。领威城、都城、元溪、晋化、端溪、宾江、文招、夫阮等县。郡治端溪县，治所即今广东省德庆县。辖境相当今广东省德庆县、郁南县西部地区（2）。隋开皇十一年（591年），废属端州（3）。

（1），《隋书》卷31?地理下?信安郡：“平陈，置端州。”端溪县：“旧置晋康郡。平陈，郡废。”（北京，中华书局，1973年，3册，882页）。作梁陈复迁治端溪县。
《隋书》卷31?地理下?永熙郡：“梁置泷州。统县六：泷水，旧置开阳县，置开阳、平原、罗阳等郡，平陈郡并废，以名县，开皇十八年改平原曰泷水，罗阳县为正义，大业初置永熙郡，开阳、正义俱废入焉。怀德，旧曰梁德，置梁德郡，平陈郡废，十八年改名怀德。良德，陈置，曰务德，后改名焉。安遂，梁置建州、广熙郡，寻废，州大业初废。永业，梁置永业郡，寻改为县，后省，开皇十六年又置。永熙，大业初并南安县入。”（北京，中华书局，1973年，3册，882页）。作梁天监元年，迁郡治安遂县。

（3），《元和郡县图志》卷34?岭南道1?端州，高要：“本秦南海郡地，汉武帝置苍梧郡，则为苍梧郡之高要县也，梁大同中，于此立高要郡。隋开皇十一年置端州，大业三年罢为信安郡，武德四年平萧铣，五年重置端州。”（北京，中华书局，1983年，下册，896页）。卷34?岭南道?康州：“晋末于此置晋康郡。隋开皇十二年省晋康郡，以所领县属端州。大业三年罢州为信安郡。隋末陷贼，武德四年讨平萧铣，五年置康州。”管县四：端溪、悦城、都城、晋康。（北京，中华书局，1983年，下册，896页）。
《隋书》卷31?信安郡：“平陈，置端州。统县七：高要，旧置高要郡，平陈郡废，大业初置信安郡。端溪，旧置晋康郡，平陈郡废。乐城，开皇十二年废文招、悦成二县入。平兴，旧置宋隆郡，领初宁、建宁、熙穆、崇德、召兴、崇化、南安等县，平陈郡废，并所领县入焉，又梁置梁泰郡及县，平陈郡废，县改曰清泰，大业初废入焉。新兴，梁置新州、新兴郡，平陈郡废，大业初州废，又废索卢县入焉。博林，大业初废抚纳县入。铜陵，有流南县，开皇十八年改曰南流，又有西城县，大业初废入。”（北京，中华书局，1973年，3册，882页）。
据《元和志》统一作开皇十一年，废高要郡改置端州时，废晋康郡、宋隆郡、梁泰郡、新宁郡、新兴郡属之。",
