绍兴二年（1132年）下蔡县地入金，作此年金建寿州，领下蔡一县（今安徽凤台县治）。金皇统元年（1141年）蒙城改隶寿州，时寿州领县二：下蔡（附郭）、蒙城。①元至元二十八年（1291年）改属安丰路。②
①《金史》卷25《地埋志中》：“寿州……县二：……下蔡……蒙城，宋隶亳州，国初来属。”（第2册，591页）《金史》卷66《挞懒传》：“天会四年……进取亳州。”（第5册，1567页）《金史》卷77《宗弼传》：“自率众取亳州及顺昌府，嵩、汝等州相次皆下。……时天眷三年也。”（第6册，1755页）天眷三年为1140年。《金史》卷25《地理志中》：“皇统元年（1141年，南宋绍兴十一年），都元帅宗弼与宋约，以淮水中流为界。”（第2册，599页）今作皇统元年（1141年）亳州地正式入金，蒙城属寿州亦定于此时。
