梁绍泰元年（555年）割宣城郡之广德、吴兴之故鄣，并置石封县为广梁郡，郡治石封县（今安徽广德县）。①陈永定二年（558年）改名陈留郡。②
①《陈书》卷15《陈详传》：“高祖征杜龛，详别下安吉、原乡、故鄣三县。龛平，以功授散骑侍郎、假节、雄信将军、青州刺史，资割故鄣、广德置广梁郡，以详为太守。高祖践祚，改广梁为陈留，又以为陈留太守。”（第1册，218页）
《隋书》卷31《地理志下》：宣城郡“绥安，旧曰石封，平陈，改名焉。梁末立大梁郡，又改为陈留。平陈，郡废，省大德、故鄣、安吉、原乡四县入焉。”（第3册，877页）《舆地广记》卷24《江南东路》广德军广德县：“梁分置石封县。”（丛书集成本第4册，255页）《清嘉庆一统志》第44册，卷132《广德州古迹》：“石封故县，即今州治。《陈书》梁绍泰元年割故鄣、广德置广梁郡。以详为太守。永定二年改广梁为陈留郡。”石封县即今广德县治。

广梁郡（555—557年）界线
其时广梁郡领石封、广德、故鄣三县，郡境包有今安徽广德、郎溪二县地，西、南、北界同今安徽广德、郎溪二县界，唯今广德县治以北部地（无量河以北）为绥安县地，属义兴郡，另有今长兴县西南四安镇西地属故鄣县地，入本郡。",
