一称淮西路。南宋建炎元年（1127年）淮南路又分为东、西路（1）。西路治寿春府（今安徽凤台县），领寿春府、庐州、蕲州、和州、舒州、濠州、光州、黄州、无为军、六安军（2）。二年（1128年）移治庐州（今安徽合肥市）（3）。
