北宋开宝五年（972年）改南都南昌府留守置，治洪州（今江西南昌市）。（1）领有洪、吉、袁、信州。（2）开宝八年（975年）置江南路。（3）
注：
（1）北宋马令《马氏南唐书》卷17《朱令贇传》：“会林仁肇卒，以令贇为镇南军节度使。”（《四部丛刊》续编，15册，5页）据朱玉龙《五代十国方镇年表?洪州》：“宋开宝五年（972年）二月，林仁肇遇鸩卒，去南都之制，仍为节度使。”又引《长编》谓：南都留守林仁肇死于开宝五年（972年）二月。（北京，中华书局，1997年，450、451页）按：当北宋开宝五年（972年）仍复为节度使，仍治洪州（今江西南昌市）。
（2）《新唐书》卷68《方镇表五》乾元元年（758年）：置洪吉都防御团练观察处置使，领洪、吉、虔、抚、袁五州，治洪州。又上元元年（760年）：“洪吉观察使增领信州。”贞元四年（788年）：“江南西道观察使增领江州。”（北京，中华书局，1975年，6册，1903、1904、1910页）按：治所及所领州，当不改。《新五代史》卷60《职方考第三》，吴及南唐均有以上七州。按：开平三年已不领虔州、抚州二州，龙德元年又不领江州。故现在只领洪、吉、袁、信州。
