在今上海市川沙县北曹路。清前期为营汛分驻点，⑴嘉庆初年形成集市⑵，属上海县。嘉庆十五年（1810）属川沙厅。⑶1911年属川沙县，至今不变。⑷
⑴清李文耀修，谈起行、叶承纂：乾隆《上海县志》卷6《兵防》：“外塘曹家路墩（川营兵三名）”。（清乾隆十五年（1814）刻本，中国书店，1992年，《稀见中国地方志汇刊》，1册，509页下）
⑵清宋如林修，孙星衍、莫晋纂：嘉庆《松江府志》卷2《镇市》：“曹家路镇在二十二保。”（清嘉庆二十二年松江府学明伦堂刻本，37页）
⑶清陈方瀛修、俞樾等纂：光绪《川沙厅志》卷1《团路》有曹家路（清光绪五年（1879）刻本，6页）。
⑷上海市川沙县县志编纂委员会编《川沙县志》第一卷《建置》：“顾路乡农村集镇－－曹路，俗称曹家路口，位于老护塘上。在清代，曹路为营防分驻点。”（上海人民出版社，1990年，79页）",
