在今上海市松江县西南甪杨（新浜至石湖荡湾间）。一作甪钓湾，约清乾隆初形成市镇⑴，属娄县。1912年属华亭县。1914年属松江县，至今不变⑵。
⑴清谢庭薰修，陆锡熊纂：乾隆《娄县志》卷3《村镇》：“六店湾一名甪钓湾，俗以为甪里先生垂钓地。按甪头村在洞庭西山，此盖传会也。”（清乾隆五十三年（1788）刻本，7页）
⑵上海市松江县地方史志编纂委员会编《松江县志》卷1《建置》：“甪钓湾位于新浜镇东北5公里处，沪杭铁路东侧，新泾西岸。明万历年间形成集镇，先后开设店铺20余家，清代起市面较盛。”（上海人民出版社，1991年，104页）",
