即今上海市金山县北干巷镇。明弘治元年（1488）前已成聚落。⑴明属华亭县，清顺治十三年（1656）属娄县，雍正二年（1724）属金山县，至今不变。⑵
⑴龚宝琦修、黄厚本等纂：光绪《金山县志》卷19《仕绩传》：“曹豹，字文蔚，干巷人，弱冠，充邑践更，为有司所笞，发愤力学，入卫庠，中弘治十二年进士。”（清光绪四年（1878）刻本，3页）
明陈威、喻时修，陈继儒等纂：正德《松江府志》卷26（明正德七年（1512）刻本，上海书店，《天一阁藏明代方志选刊续编》本）表中有此人。据此，聚落形成年代当在明弘治年前。
⑵上海市金山县县志编纂委员会编《金山县志》第四编《乡镇概况》：“干巷镇位于乡境中部，旧名干溪、干将里，亦名胥浦里。南北朝梁代时胥浦县县治曾在干巷附近。今干巷乡政府驻地。东靠张泾河，南傍干巷塘，金张公路在镇南经过，水陆交通便利，距县治朱泾镇10公里，面积0．248平方公里。居民1127人，农民275人。相传春秋时干将曾居此，一说元代干姓居此成大族，故名。”（上海人民出版社，1987年，149页）",
