在今上海奉贤县东北泰日镇。一名坍石桥，约清嘉庆初形成集市，属奉贤县，至今不变。⑴
⑴清宋如林修，孙星衍、莫晋纂：嘉庆《松江府志》卷2《镇市》：“泰日桥镇在十五保。街长亘南北，中贯运盐河，民居隔河相茎，亦东北一巨镇也。”（清嘉庆二十二年（1817）松江府学明伦堂刻本，24页）
清韩佩金修，张文虎等纂：光绪《奉贤县志》卷1《市镇》：“泰日桥俗呼坍石桥，跨运盐河两岸，民居相望，亦东北一巨镇。”（清光绪四年（1878）刻本，7页）
上海市奉贤县县志编修委员会编《奉贤县志》卷3《集镇志》：“泰日桥位于县境东北部，距县府13公里。……泰日桥成市于元末明初，跨运盐河两岸，古名盐溪，俗呼坍石桥，清乾初因字不雅训，易以泰日。昔日，青村场盐运，皆经运盐河入浦，泰日经济由此发展，清末民初，地设盐市场，市更盛。该地位于奉贤、上海、南汇三县交界处，乡脚除本地外，远及航头、新场、鲁汇、青村和齐贤地区，俗称活络码头，为县境东北一大镇，是农副产品和工业品集散地。”（上海人民出版社，1987年，136页）",
