在今上海市青浦县青浦镇南泰来西侧。约南宋时形成聚落。⑴宋属华亭县，元至元二十八年（1291）属上海县，嘉靖二十一年（1542）属青浦县，嘉靖三十二年复属上海县，⑵万历元年（1573）又属青浦县，至今不变。⑶
⑴宋如林修，孙星衍、莫晋纂：嘉庆《松江府志》卷2《镇市》：“在唐行南咸鱼港上。自宋元来，人烟稠密，仕族曹氏家焉。水北尚有土垄，为其家山。三阜离立，一水潆洄，高见泖塔。市中飞梁对峙，有东西庵院介于其间。”（清嘉庆二十二年（1817）松江府学明伦堂刻本，32页）聚落形成年代暂定在南宋建炎元年（1127）。
初见于卓钿修、王圻纂：明万历《青浦县志》卷2《镇市》：“泰来桥市，在县西南咸鱼港上。”（明万历二十五年（1597）刻本，中国书店，1992年，《稀见中国地方志汇刊》，1册，1004页上）
⑵唐行镇在明嘉靖年间的隶属变化，无直接的文献记载。因万历元年（1573）复置青浦县时，辖境与嘉靖时相同，故作此推测。
⑶于定等修、金咏榴等纂：《青浦县续志》卷2《村庄》（1934年刻本，4页）有泰来桥。
上海市青浦县县志编纂委员会编《青浦县志》（上海人民出版社，1990年）卷首《青浦县政区图》有泰来，即泰来桥。",
