嘉庆《清一统志》卷289《湖州府一·山川》：“小雷山，在乌程县北三十六里太湖中。”乾隆《乌程县志》卷2《山川》：“小雷山在城北三十八里太湖中，去岸二十里，与江南吴县分界。”乾隆《湖州府志》引《石柱记笺》：长兴夹浦之东三里即大雷山，长兴分界；乌程大钱之北二十里即小雷山，乌程分界；俱在西洞庭之西。”今江苏省吴县太湖中小雷山，即清时吴、乌程两县分界处。",
