民国《新睦镇志》卷10《园宅》：清张探花故宅，在徐王庙后，明中叶张明远始居于此，张天植领乡荐后迁居郡城，顺治己丑及第第三人，其亲支仍比户而居焉。据1982年嘉兴市地名普查领导小组办公室所编《浙江省嘉兴市地名志》：“徐王庙，原有一座徐王庙，据明、清嘉兴方志记载，昔称徐偃王庙，曾是嘉兴有名的古迹，明代记载说那里林木郁茂，为一方之胜。又据《新睦镇志》记载，徐王庙后曾是清顺治年间探花张天植的故里。”其所附《新农公社地图》有徐王庙，在嘉兴市新睦镇东南。",
