樊树志《明清江南市镇探微》引明弘治《太仓州志》陆河市为太仓州十一市之一，引正德明林世远修、王鏊纂：正德《姑苏志》：为太仓州十市之一，嘉靖《南畿志》同。则市形成于明弘治年间。",
