按光绪《高淳县志》卷4《镇市》：“邓埠镇，县东七十里，河南为建平界。”盖嘉庆时已有其地名，至清末升为镇。
据1978年《江苏省地图集》（内部发行），在今江苏高淳县东定埠。",
